January 25. The day we honour Robert Burns.
Robert Burns, January 25 1759 - July 21 1796, is Scotland’s greatest Bard. Throughout his short life, he wrote more than 550 poems and songs. Each year, on January 25th, more than 9.5 million people across the globe celebrate his life and works by hosting or joining a Burns Supper. Whether basic haggis, neeps, and tatties at the kitchen table or a gourmet Burns Supper at a restaurant, celebrate any way you want. But, celebrate. I'll be posting some of my menu plans and recipes along the way. Stay tuned.

And some wad eat that want it,
But we hae meat and we can eat,
Sae let the Lord be Thankit!
